Surgical Implant Solutions (SIS) is a Florida limited liability company engaged in the business of distribution and end user contracting for surgical implants in the area of orthopedics, neurosurgery, cardiology, and cardiothoracic surgery. The primary objective of SIS is to provide hospitals with competitive, predictable pricing at levels that are not attainable in the current business model. The SIS model can achieve this goal while preserving current patient access to implant technologies with the highest quality care. 
 
Implanting physicians become minority investors in one of two SIS GPOs specific to their field of practice. From these physician investors, SIS forms Physician Advisory Panels in well-defined, geographically limited markets for the purpose of lowering the cost of surgical implants to participating hospitals while providing an ancillary revenue source to the physician investors. 

Physician investors clinically qualify implant devices and SIS will negotiate pricing and contracting for the purchase of these devices from various manufacturers and distributors on behalf of the final payers. The process of competitive bidding among comparable suppliers by the GPO will allow the selection of one or two vendors. It is anticipated that preferred pricing can be obtained by concentration of market share over a limited number of suppliers in contrast to the current system for that local market.

Sale of these implants to hospital systems on a contractual basis at discounted prices completes the financial transaction process. Physician and hospital autonomy is respected under the SIS model, and neither is required or induced to restrict its implant choices.
